The announcement was made during a special primetime segment aired jointly by CBS and ESPN, with Netflix confirming the upcoming release of a companion documentary series titled Texas Reigns: Glory, Grit & the Longhorn Legacy, premiering this fall. The program will explore the Longhorns’ legacy, including their championship pedigree, top-tier facilities, iconic branding, and the magnetic allure of its athletes and campus culture.
